I read that citrine quartz, unlike other crystals and minerals, does not hold or accumulate negative energy, but rather transmutes, dissipates, and grounds it. The longer I paint and study quartz, the more mesmerized I become by them.
Original oil painting, varnished to completion and ready to hang. Executed on gesso board (a textured board made of wood).
