"Element of Desire" is a one-of-a-kind, original oil painting that debuted during Desiree's first solo show "UNCERTAINTY REALMS, The Art of the Unknown".

 

The piece is based on an artist collaboration with Surrealist Photographer, Petite Doll, who is posing as a muse on the piece.

"Element of Desire" is fueled by the carnal, primitive feeling of pleasure and desire. Feelings represented in a softer universal manner through the presence of a red nebula, which is symbolic of the universality of the emotion, that which grows stronger within ourselves the moment we want something or wish for something to happen.

​

The stone in her hands is a Lavender Quartz, sister stone to Rose Quartz, and just like her sister, she also symbolizes love, but also healing and joy.
