Heavily textured, one-of-a-kind, original oil painting executed on gesso board (a textured wooden board). There are six types of beryl. The two most well-knowns are its green variety, which is an emerald, and its greyish-blue variety, which is an aquamarine. The piece is a close up study of the latter. 
 
Varnished to completion. Signed and dated by the artist. Comes with a certificate of authenticity.
